Emily has lived in the beautiful NC High Country for 20+ years and recently served as the president of the ASU Womens Club. She and her husband have raised 3 children in Boone and have fostered numerous others in Watauga County. She has firsthand experience with local schools, recreational activities, and community resources. Her educational background includes a BS in Psychology from Colorado State University and an MBA in Finance from Florida State University. She possesses a unique skillset that is both people oriented and analytical. She enjoys getting to know her clients and provides them the time, attention, and detail needed to help them make swift, well-informed buying and selling decisions. She adapts well to change and is someone you can trust in evolving markets.
Prior to entering the field of real estate, Emily gained experience working in the areas of software support, financial services, and higher education. She became a part of the ’Appalachian Family’ in 2003 when her husband began working for ASU as a professor in the Walker College of Business. She has worked at ASU herself in the Walker College of Business as an employer relations coordinator. She has an outgoing personality and enjoys welcoming families to the High Country. Her interests outside of real estate include financial planning, outdoor recreation, and acting in commercials. Don’t be surprised if you see her on the Food Network or HGTV!
