Matthew Bentley was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina. Matt grew up working in the construction and furniture industry. His father owns Lenoir Building Supply and his mother owns Designing Women Inc., a prominent interior design firm that does business across the globe.
With a very strong entrepreneurial spirit, Matt spent over a decade leading operations in the printing and embroidery industry as the former owner of M&B Printing. He also spent a year in Dallas, Texas, working as the Vice President of sales for a frac pump rental company.
After returning from Texas, he and his family settled in Boone. Matt went back to his roots, and founded Bent Tree Restorations LLC in 2020, reinvigorating his passion for construction and home improvement projects. Matt has always deeply loved the mountains of North Carolina, and he is excited and proud to help people find their perfect home in the High Country.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Allie Rae; his dog, Bear; and his son, Rome Larkin. He and his family love to hike, travel, and spend time giving back to the community.
Matt is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina.
He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, The North Carolina Association of REALTORS, and The High Country Association of REALTORS.
