ABOUT ME:

I grew up in a very small town located about an hour from Columbus, Ohio.  I graduated from college at Ohio Northern University where I achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  My husband and I moved to Raleigh in 1991 and are happy to call Raleigh our home. I am the mother of a son, daughter, and and two awesome rescue dogs.  My daughter graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) and is attending The Ohio State University School of Optometry.  My son graduated from NC State University.  My Husband is an engineer and is a private pilot with an instrument rating.

Our two children were born and raised in Raleigh.  Growing up they were very active playing sports: travel ice hockey, travel lacrosse, soccer and cross country to name a few.  Although we lived in North Carolina for many years, at one point we decided to move out of state for my husband's job as well as to reconnect with family.  During that time we actually moved three different times in three year! The third move brought us back to Raleigh. 

Not only have we moved across country, we have move across town in Raleigh.  We have lived in apartments, rental houses, established homes and had a home built. From these experiences, I understand the obstacles one faces when moving whether just across town or out of state, by yourself or with children and pets in tow.  I  understand the importance of finding good neighborhoods and being close to the things that matter most to you.
