In 2005, I made the decision to become a Licensed Realtor after owning & operating my own Family Daycare Business in my home for 13 years. During my family daycare operation, I received the Chemung County Family Daycare Provider of the Year Award; which spoke highly of my dedication to the families I served.  While I loved taking care of the children in my care and woke up excited to greet them each day, my own children were growing up and needed me more outside of the home than at home.  So, I joined the number one independent real estate company at that time which was RealtyUSA.com.  Years later, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services took ownership of RealtyUSA.com and I have remained with this company throughout my career in Real Estate. 

At about the same time that I became a Realtor, I also opened and operated a Licensed Kindermusik Program in Elmira where I facilitated music & movement classes for young children throughout Chemung & Schuyler Counties.  I ran my program, while also working full time in Real Estate, for 16 years; having received several “Maestro” Awards from Kindermusik International along the way.  However, when Covid regulations came along, I decided it was time to close my program.  While I loved the opportunities my Kindermusik program provided to blend my love of music with my love of children, my true passion was and is Real Estate. 

Since becoming a licensed Real Estate agent in 2005, I continually work to keep my skills & knowledge at the very top of the scale in order to provide my clients the absolute best service that I can.  Not long after becoming a licensed sales agent, I took my Brokerage Course and became a Licensed Associate Broker.  I have since taken the GRI/ABR/AHWD designations.  (Graduate Real Estate Institute, Accredited Buyer Representative, and At Home with Diversity Designations). I have received numerous awards in real estate through the years including the National Sales Excellence Awards on several occasions, Number One Howard Hanna Elmira Office Realtor, Presidents Club Recipient, and most recently in the Fall of 2023, the first annual “Kindness & Professionalism Award” given to one agent out of over 300 agents in our Board.
