"Local Knowledge. Proven Experience. Personal Service"
With nearly four decades of real estate knowledge and business experience, I bring a unique perspective to helping clients buy and sell property in Western North Carolina.
I originally earned my real estate license in 1987 and obtained my broker license in 1988. Shortly afterward, I pursued a successful career in the nuclear energy industry while maintaining a strong interest in real estate, construction, and finance. To broaden my expertise, I completed mortgage broker coursework and general contracting license courses, giving me valuable insight into multiple aspects of property ownership and investment.
After returning to real estate in 2005, I joined Allen Tate Realtors, where I quickly established a strong track record of success. From 2006 through 2010, I received numerous awards recognizing outstanding achievements in both listings and sales. In 2011, I transitioned into self-employment, continuing to build relationships and business experience before returning to the real estate profession in 2026.
Beyond real estate, I enjoy serving my community and spending time with family. In the early 2000s, I played drums with a Christian country band, combining my love of music and fellowship. Today, I still enjoy playing drums for fun, along with camping, reading, and exploring the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
My wife and I have been married for more than 33 years, and we have owned property in the South Toe Valley for over 30 years. Having lived here full-time for the past 11 years, I have a deep appreciation for the area's natural beauty, local culture, and unique real estate opportunities.
Whether you're buying your first home, selling a property, or looking for mountain land and investment opportunities, I am committed to providing honest guidance, local knowledge, and dedicated service every step of the way.
