Education plays a key, important role in Mary’s real estate career - education both for herself and for her clients. On a personal level, she has attained the Graduate Realtor Institute designation, and takes many, many real estate related classes that help further her ability to help her clients.

Mary believes that the most successful clients are those who are well-informed. She not only takes time to listen and understand their motives and desires; she takes time to educate and is always accessible to answer questions or concerns.  Her clients know what to expect at every step along the way. She doesn't just "spend" time with them but rather she "invests" time with them.  Because to Mary, her clients are worth it!

Mary is a lifelong resident of the community.  She was born and raised in West Seneca, the 6^th of 7 children.  She attended both local parochial and public schools and graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo.  Her knowledge of the area enables Mary to assist clients in every price range and in all areas - from the City of Buffalo, to the suburbs, and to rural areas and farms. 

Mary comes from a proud military family.  Her father served in WWII; her brother served in the Viet Nam war, and her son served in both Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.  

Before turning to real estate, Mary spent 15 years as the public information officer for the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. Prior to that, she was a local award-winning television reporter and producer (WIVB-TV), with a BS in Media Communications.  While pursuing these other careers, she also kept the books for her husband’s home building business. In that capacity, she learned what goes into building a house from the ground up.

Mary’s favorite part of the real estate business is educating her clients. Really!  It’s that simple! Enlightening her clients and helping them move onto the next chapter of their lives is very, very important to her and she does it with relative ease.

Her hobbies include reading, entertaining, gardening, and swimming. As a long-distance swimmer spanning decades, she estimates that she has logged more 10,000 miles.  She’s a dog lover and a passionate member of “Bill’s Mafia,” also known as the Buffalo Bills fan club. To that end the local person she most admires is the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, Sean McDermott.  She loves his attitude, professionalism, and especially his humility.  “Stay hungry- Stay humble” and “Trust the Process” are a couple of Mary’s favorite insightful quotes from the Coach, and she utilizes those pearls of wisdom daily in her real estate career.

Mary is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NARS), New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR), and Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors (BNAR)
