Dave is a licensed residential builder who built, remodeled, and repaired homes for many years before becoming a full-time Realtor. He is also one of the few Master Certified Negotiation Experts for real estate transactions in our area. Both Dave and Linda have a background in the arts, and each successfully ran a small businesses for decades: Dave, as a producer of film and video, and Linda, as a music educator. In today’s instant communication environment, it seems obvious that Dave's ePro certification in social media can benefit sellers. He is also certified as a Seller Representative Specialist. Even his Accredited Buyers Representative training works for you: We are always centered on the needs of our clients, and we have found that understanding the needs and concerns of buyers is a tremendous help during our negotiations for the seller.

Negotiation is at the center of the home selling process and knowledge is the key. That is why Dave has done the work to become one of the few Realtors who has earned the designation Master Certified Negotiation Expert from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.

Many sellers also don’t realize the benefit we offer with our knowledge of construction. We have built houses, remodeled houses and “flipped” houses. We can help you anticipate  buyers’ concerns about your property and recommend preemptive actions that could eliminate those concerns. Most buyers will have a contractor’s inspection before completing their sale, and when this happens, Dave is adept at recognizing the difference between real problems and flimsy attempts to lower the selling price.  As a full-time Realtor, Dave no longer does any contracting, but he still keeps his Michigan residential builder’s license. It is an additional tool to assist our clients in the best way we can.
