Not just a real estate agent - a real estate coach
When I bought my first home in 2008, a Howard Hanna agent helped me to achieve the dream of home ownership. I became an agent to help others to achieve that same dream. My goal each day is to help others to feel what I felt when I stood outside my family's new home for the first time with the keys in my hand.
Being a coach and being a real estate agent have a lot in common. I have to communicate effectively. I have to be positive, especially when there are setbacks. I have to be knowledgeable, never resting on what I already know when there is always new information out there that could make me better able to serve my clients. I need to have the vision to see the big picture, and understand the daily actions needed to bring the final goal to fruition. I have to be willing to step up and take responsibility for getting things done.
No coach does it all alone. As a coach I surrounded myself with knowledgeable people who had the same vision I had. Today, I count on the knowledgeable people at Barristers and Howard Hanna Financial to help our team accomplish our goals.
Most importantly, just as when I was coaching, the team's success is the most important thing. My clients are my team. That makes your goal MY goal. I will be in constant contact with you, making sure that you are never left wondering what is going on. I will be honest with you. I will tell you what you need to hear, even if it is not always what you want to hear. I will be positive and supportive. In most real estate endeavors, there will be setbacks and disappointments. My job is to remind you to trust the process and that setbacks will not stop us from achieving our goal. I will be there to guide you every step of the way, from the day we become a team until we have achieved your goal.
When it's time for you to assemble your real estate team, I hope you will allow me to join you and make your goal my goal. Together we can accomplish something special.
