My philosophy is simple: I like to combine my enthusiasm for helping people with a passion for homes that benefits all my clients.
Helping others has been a major theme throughout my career. I was a respiratory therapist at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, New York, before becoming a special education teacher. For nearly ten years I taught math to middle and high school students with special needs, often mentoring them outside the classroom. More recently, I taught high school equivalency courses for adults through BOCES, helping residents of our community from all backgrounds achieve their goals.
I have also served as Vice-Chairperson and Acting Executive Director of the non-profit Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania. Animal Care Sanctuary shelters nearly 1,000 dogs, cats, and other animals, and I helped to restructure and fund its $1 million budget.
In addition, I’ve always enjoyed exploring real estate. The local market is full of residences both old and new, in a wide range of styles and sizes. In recent years I’ve helped clients find the right home from Interlaken to Ithaca to Candor, while on the side I enjoy improving my own property.
At Howard Hanna, I am proud to be a member of the Mary Stoe Team of Realtors. Our team has a long track record of outstanding customer service, finding more homes for more people than anyone else I know. In addition, Howard Hanna is the third largest real estate company in the country, giving us access to more listings and resources than any other local agency.
Let me use my track record – and my team’s resources – to help you find a house that’s not just a good investment, but that’s also a great home. Whether you’re selling, buying, building, or just have questions, give me a call!
