Pat also has experience in the distressed Real Estate market, and understands the special challenges involved in successfully navigating transactions involving short sales, and foreclosed properties. As a waterfront homeowner herself, Pat is also well informed regarding issues which are associated with purchasing waterfront properties including environmental concerns and recent changes in the laws governing flood insurance.  Pat makes a point of staying well informed about her market with continuing education, updating her technical skills, and making sure that no stone goes unturned in providing comprehensive excellence in the services she provides.

Long before Pat became a Realtor, she had a fascination with houses, and she believes in the emotional and financial power of owning real estate.  She and her husband have owned, renovated, and been landlords for several homes over the years.  Pat’s personal involvement in renovating homes has provided her with the knowledge and experience to better prepare her listed properties for the market. In addition, she is an Accredited Staging Professional, and utilizes these skills by staging her listings, thereby shortening the market time.

Pat and her husband live in Norfolk on the Chesapeake Bay in an old home which they have renovated, and which they share with their two adored retrievers, Lexi and Lola.  Pat is a vegetarian who loves to cook, enjoys creative projects and “fixing things”,  riding her bike, enjoying the beach, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family.  She has been an accomplished artist/sculptor, and she is incapable of coming in contact with a dog or cat without making a love connection!
