I have been serving Lawrence County buyers and sellers since 1993, with a focus on Quality over Quantity. I welcome all prospective clients and especially enjoy working with seniors and 1st time buyers. In addition to traditional homes, I have sold investment properties, condos, farms, commercial developments, and unusual properties such as a quonset hut, a grist mill, a summer camp, and a “green” house with a composting toilet! I have extensive training and experience with ethics and professional standards. I served on many committees and panels at PAR, the state REALTOR® organization, and am a past president of the Lawrence County Board of REALTORS®.
My background is in management and social service. I was the Director of Admissions at both Gateway Rehabilitation Center and the Alcoholic Clinic of Youngstown, where I also specialized in creative thinking and problem solving utilizing story boards. I recently served as facilitator for a Polar Plunge planning committee, as well as volunteering to jump through the ice in Lake Arthur three times myself!
As for charity and community involvement, I am the 2014 President of the Board of Directors of Lawrence County Habitat for Humanity and serve on the site selection and family selection committees. I taught active listening to volunteer trainees for CONTACT E.A.R.S., a New Castle hotline, for over 15 years.
On a personal level, I have three grown children, three large cats, and a loving-but-timid pit bull dog. I provide transportation and support for some elderly friends. I have a season ticket to the Pittsburgh Symphony Pops, and attend as many musicals and plays as I can. I love to create gourmet cuisine using whatever is in the pantry that works with my newly-discovered wheat issues. My religious "family" is Highland Presbyterian Church and a small group that has been studying Christian authors and noshing together for several years. Courtesy of the U.S. Navy, I have lived near military bases in Maryland and Maine. After three years in Clearwater, Florida, I returned to call New Castle my home for good. I feel comfortable selling life in Lawrence County and western Pennsylvania.
