I have always been a ball player. Coaches along the way helped me to achieve that dream. When my playing career ended, I became a coach so that I could help others to achieve their dream. For 17 years, I have dedicated myself to helping others to reach their goals in life.
When I bought my first home seven years ago, a Howard Hanna agent helped me to achieve the dream of home ownership. I became an agent to help others to achieve that same dream. I became an agent so that others could feel what I felt when I stood outside my family's new home for the first time with the keys in my hand.
Being a real estate agent is a lot like being a coach. Just as when I was coaching, I have to communicate effectively. I have to be positive, especially when there are setbacks. I have to be knowledgeable, never resting on what I already know when there is always new information out there that could make me better able to serve my clients. I need to have the vision to see the big picture, and understand the daily actions needed to bring the final goal to fruition. I have to be willing to step up and take responsibility for getting things done.
Most importantly, just as when I was coaching, the team's success is the most important thing. When you work with me, we are a team. That makes your goal MY goal. When you succeed, I succeed. I will be in constant contact with you, making sure that you are never left wondering what is going on. I will be honest with you. I will tell you what you need to hear, even if it is not always what you want to hear. I will be positive and supportive. In most real estate endeavors, there will be setbacks and disappointments. My job is to remind you to trust the process and that setbacks will not stop us from achieving our goal. I will be there to guide you every step of the way, from the day we become a team until we have achieved your goal.
When it's time for you to assemble your real estate team, I hope you will allow me to join you and make your goal my goal. Together we can accomplish something special.
