Licensed in 1978, as a salesperson, broker since 1994. Former owner of Ed Cooper Real Estate, currently a Managing Partner and Broker with Howard Hanna, RealCom Realty, LLC. As a member of the Columbus Realtors, I have served on various committees, including Standard Forms, Key Box (past chairman), Grievance and Professional Standards (past chairman) and the Education committee. Past Ohio Association of Realtors Trustee, and current member of the OAR Professional Standards Forum.
Adjunct faculty at Columbus State Community College for 20 years (retired), I have taught all pre-license classes, the post-license class and continuing education classes on many subjects. I also have helped train Grievance and Professional Standards CBR committee members for many years.
In 1999 I was privileged to be selected to be one of two Realtors from Ohio to be included in an ethics training class at National Association of Realtors in Chicago. In 2004, I was honored again, to be chosen by the CBR to attend the OAR’s mediation training classes. The OAR in turn, sent me to the NAR to take the same, more intensified training. I am now qualified to mediate for the CR, OAR and NAR. Currently I am listed a the mediator with with five local boards outside of Columbus. Graduate of the Realtor’s Institute in 2005.
I am active in my local community. I volunteer many hours a year for the Powell SERTOMA club, past member of the Arbor Advisory Committee and Historic District Commission (Powell, Ohio). I am the past Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals, currently I serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission in Powell, and was the recipient of the CBR Volunteer Service Award in 1999.
In 2001 I partnered with Diana Schelb to make an experienced and professional, residential and small commercial sales team. We have worked hard for our clients and have become a well known and respected couple in the industry and community.
