My first realtor told me to take some time and think about the offer that I wanted to submit on a house, urging me to increase my offer before we submitted. The next morning I decided to increase my offer by a few thousand dollars only to find out that another offer was accepted just moments before and was $500.00 less than the offer I originally wanted to submit.
