Helen Hanna Casey

Dynamic, committed, successful and mentor are all words that aptly describe Helen Hanna Casey but these words are only part of the story. As President of the 4^th largest full-service real estate company in the United States, Helen is an energetic dynamo with endless energy and enthusiasm. She has grown from an entry position of sales associate in 1975 to manager, regional Vice President and to her current role of leading over 4,700 sales associates and employees in 131 sales offices located across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and New York. 

 

Helen holds the professional designations of GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) and CRB (Certified Residential Broker), and is involved with the REALTOR’S® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. In addition, she is currently President of the Board of Directors of the West Penn Multi-List

and serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Executive Committee and Real Estate Services Advisory Board. In 2008, she served as Chair of The Realty Alliance, a consortium of the largest, professional residential real estate companies in the United States and Canada.

In 2005, Helen was received the “Person of Vision Award” from Pittsburgh Vision Services and was named one of “Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business”.

 

National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine has recognized Helen as a “Top Company President” and Carlow College has recognized her as a “Woman of Spirit”.

 

Helen is just as committed to improving the Pittsburgh region and is involved in a variety of organizations to achieve this goal. She recently served as the Chair of Trustees of Carlow University and is currently a Trustee Emerita. She continues to serve on the board of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, the board of directors of TriState Capital Bank, the board of directors of the Strategic Investment Funds and is Vice Chair of the Civic Light Opera and Vice President of the International Women’s Forum (IWF). 

 

In March of 2010, Helen was chosen as one of one of the top twenty-five top leaders in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Business Times for extraordinary contributions to the region.

 

And in early 2010, Inman News, a leading source of real estate news, chose Helen as one of the 100 Most Influential People.
