Barbara Reynolds
Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications
Barbara Reynolds is Vice President of Global Marketing and Communication at Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. She oversees the 30 team members in the Marketing Departments in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Erie and Harrisburg, all advertising, public relations, internet and internal communications. Her knowledge of day-to-day real estate brokerage and consumer insights is instrumental in her creativity and leadership as one of the keys to Howard Hanna’s success in marketing and advertising.
Her career in real estate is distinguished. She began her sales and management career with Real Living Realty One more than 30 years ago as a Sales Associate, moving on to Office and District Manager, Vice President in both Marketing and Relocation, Senior Vice President and General Sales Manager, Executive Vice President and eventually President of the company in February 2002 when Real Living purchased Realty One from Insignia Financial Inc.
Widely known in the real estate industry, Reynolds has served for as a Director of the National Association of REALTORS and a member of its Professional Standards Committee. She has been named one of the "Top Women in Real Estate" by National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine in 2001.
She is also very involved in her community. Barbara served for 10 years as a member of the Mentor Exempted Village Board of Education, several of those years as an officer. She is a founding board member and chairperson of the Mentor Schools Foundation, and was named to Ohio's Governor's Commission of Elementary and Secondary Education. Reynolds serves on the boards of the United Black Fund of Cleveland, the Northern Ohio Multiple Listing Service and the American Heart Association. She also served as chairwoman for the American Heart Association's 2007-2008 "Go Red for Women" campaign, a national fundraising effort to bring awareness to women's heart health.
Reynolds has been cited as one of "Cleveland's Most Interesting People" by Cleveland Magazine. In 2007, she was named one of Cleveland's "Notable Women.", and Wigs for Kids Organizations “Hero of the Year” in 2008 Northern Ohio Live prestigious “Rainmaker” award in the business category.
