Growing up on the west side of Cleveland , Denny Hartzell obtained his real estate license in 1973 after spending 10 years with the Lakewood Police Department. He started his career with Cleary Realty Company and obtained his brokers license in 1978. Denny has broadly practiced real estate but his passion is in management. Denny was with Realty One when Howard Hanna acquired the company in November of 2008. His responsibilities at Howard Hanna Real Estate Services include over-seeing the companies West Regional operations which spans from Cleveland out to the Catawba Islands . Included in his region are the Downtown office, Lakewood, Rocky River, Bay Village, Crocker Road in Westlake, North Olmsted, Avon Lake, Amhurst, Elyria and Catawba.

Denny resides in Westlake, Ohio with his wife, Diane.
