Welcome to my website!! Thank you for taking time to learn about me while you are here!
I devoted more than 25 years of my working life to public service with the Commonwealth of PA, Departments of Public Welfare and Aging. More than 20 years as supervisor and/or manager. Also, more than 10 years in management positions with several high-profile Central PA health insurance companies. During those years I developed a foundation of service delivery to the public, especially those in crisis. Now, I bring those well developed skills to my career in Real Estate.
I have been a Realtor since 2006, and I have been honored to assist Buyers and Sellers alike, as they navigate the complex processes and paperwork! I have received positive and complimentary feedback from all who I have served as demonstrated by their Testimonials. In addition, my performance has been acknowledged with certificates and awards and I have achieved Multi-Million Dollar Producer status in a very challenging market.
I am proud to serve you and proud to carry the Howard Hanna and Realtor banners!
I love working with 1st time Buyers. I guess it's my social worker background. I share the joy when they proudly stand by the Sold sign holding the keys in front of their own first homes!! I also enjoy, working with folks who are 'down-sizing, a rather traumatic and emotional voyage for many.
I am a member in good standing in the National Association of Realtors, the Pennsyvania Association of Realtors and the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors. And, of course I am a licensed Realtor.
I am very active with several organizations that provide services to families and children. I have served as President and/or Chairperson of the governing Boards of these organizations. In this capacity I have been involved in fund-raising events such as golf tournaments, comedy and magic shows, festive galas and capital campaigns. All of these efforts result in funds used for services to prevent child abuse and to provide mental health services for families and children in Central Pennsylvania. I also serve as a volunteer for the United Way. I encourage all to get involved with such organizations! The personal rewards are unlimited!
I also served as past President of the Board and have been a long-time member of the Susquehanna Ski Club. This club offers opportunities to participate in skiing and non-skiing activities year 'round. I have run many trips for the ski club. The most memorable was a special summer skiing trip to New Zealand that included excursions in Australia and Fiji! Imagine packing for that one....winter in New Zealand, spring in Australia with snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, and finally summer in Fiji swimming in the bluest water I've ever seen! Lots of fun!
I am also a member of the West Shore Elks! So happy they just made that entire facility smoke-free!!
I live along the beautiful Conodoguinet Creek in Camp Hill, Cumberland County; but, previously lived in Susquehanna Township in Dauphin County for 15 years. Having lived and worked on both sides of the Susquehanna River, I am familiar with the communities and amenities offered by both the East and West Shores. And, since the Susquehanna River isn't a 'Great Divide' to me, I like to refer to myself as "bi-shoral"!
I love to ski, bike, golf, play volleyball, travel and spend time with my large family. We all live within 20 miles of Camp Hill and have been known to gather for "porch parties" on a moments notice! We find many reasons to gather - including a very special celebration when one of my 14 nephews returned safely from his second tour of duty in Iraq and discharge from the Army. One annual event is the 'Grill Off' when the male members of the family compete for the coveted trophy and distinguished honor of being crowned 'Best All-around' grill chef. Family events, even weddings, usually conclud with singing of 'God Bless America', and yes, we do know all of the words!
My travels have taken me to many areas of the U.S.A and Europe, most often to ski or hit the beach. I've been to Zermatt, Switzerland 3 times and skied near the Matterhorn every time...awesome! I make annual trips to Florida, usually in November, and if I'm near Disney World or Universal Studios - you will find me on the coasters!
