Thoughts from the Director…

Commitment and attention to detail are a direct reflection on any success.  I am committed to the success of our property managers and the ever-evolving needs of our investors and customers in the property management industry. 

Teamwork and communication are the key components to our culture at Howard Hanna Property Management.  It is such a joy to be a part of this team.  Daily, I am inspired by their energy and strength.  As a member of the HHPM team, each is encouraged to contribute, collaborate, and communicate new ideas.  We are constantly working together to “build a better mouse trap”.  We all have something to share whether we are new to the industry or 20 year veterans, the mutual respect and benevolent nature is contagious. 

More about Amy…

Amy started her career in real estate as administrative assistant in Lexington, Virginia in 1998.  Licensed in 1999, she began her property management and sales journey.  In 2002 she opened her own firm and for 10 years, she was broker/owner of ERA Premier Partners (sales) and Lexington Company (property management).  In 2012 she sold her business in Lexington and became the Director of Property Management for Howard Hanna – aka Ring Master of the Circus, Head Cat Herder.  She is an active member of Virginia Realtors serving on the several committees over the years including Property Managers Council since 2002, Rockbridge Highlands Realtor of the Year in 2005, and Virginia Realtors Property Manager of Year in 2013.

Mother of two, she enjoys the arts, interior design, and is a lifetime equestrian.  When she is not with her property managers, Amy can be found on the farm gardening, or enjoying the company of a beloved equine friend.
